Sargent Park Tennis Courts Open to Everyone!

The community rallied! Working together we were able to bring the Tennis Courts back into the hands of the city.  A lease was provided to business holder who got the tennis courts for a dollar and then charged people too play tennis on a city owned court. The lease holder and was given full control and maintenance of the courts.   The community came to me sharing their concerns that the courts where not accessible to everyone and limited hours.  This has taken many years, however thanks for some great collaboration I have gotten with the community, we got the city to not renew the lease and now the tennis courts will be free and open to the public without any membership cost.
